Workbnb Update: Airbnb's MASSIVE Mistake
Airbnb's new refund policy just opened up a whole new can of worms...
Guys.
Remember the last post about how Workbnb is going to crush Airbnb?
Well, Airbnb’s new refund policy just added more fuel to the fire after they announced a new change to be put in place starting April 29 which includes looser guidelines and more opportunities for guests to blackmail hosts
Here’s a quick summary of this disastrous update:
Guests now have the chance to demand a FULL REFUND up to 72 HOURS after the start of their reservation. Guests can now literally spend an entire weekend at a rental and get all their money back on Sunday night.
Guests are eligible for full refunds if the rental contains “health or safety hazards”, a phrase that has now been given less meaning compared to the much more detailed description in the 2019 policy.
Hosts may be financially penalized if guests are moved to a better accommodation due to a guest’s unsatisfactory experience. However, since the policy is not in place yet, we are not sure to what extent this will affect hosts.
